Transporting smaller loads is a common concern for those starting in the foreign trade. Many people believe they need to rent an entire container to send or receive smaller loads, but this isn’t always necessary.
There’s a method called LCL (Less Container Load) that allows for the transportation of smaller loads through cargo consolidation. This means that smaller loads are grouped together in a single container with other smaller loads, and the cost is shared among different shippers.
